About

What is Warbl?

If you have a podcast and want a cool-looking, customisable website with its own unique URL that automagically generates XML feed files, allows users to post comments for episodes, and provides you with download stats, then you're in luck because, coincidentally, that's exactly what Warbl does! Yay!

Slow down, egghead. What's a "podcast"?

A podcast is an episodic audio or video show that is delivered over the internet to interested watchers and listeners who subscribe to receive it.

Do you even understand what you just said?

No. We recommend checking out the definition on Wikipedia.

Ok, I think I've got it. Wait... what's a "wiki"?

*sigh*

What makes Warbl different from than the gazillion other podcasting sites?

Excellent question. Please send suggestions to sameold@warbl.com.

Here's a couple of our own:

  • A website home for your podcast that doesn't look like this
  • A simple-to-use, browser-based means of defining chapters for your episode so you can provide detailed, meaningful show notes
  • Automagically generated feed files
  • Hubris

Where am I supposed to store my episode files?

Warbl is working on offering a free file hosting service. Until that time, there are a number of sites on the Web that offer free media storage.

Here's a couple we suggest checking out - just note that we're not affiliated with them in any way so cannot vouch for their availability or continued freeness:

I love Warbl. What about doing/adding/changing...?

We love feedback and suggestions. Send them to whataboutthis@warbl.com

Unfortunately we cannot respond to all requests, or guarantee the implementation of any suggestions.

I hate Warbl. What about doing/adding/changing...?

Don't hate the playa, hate the game.
